Will you ever find your soul mate?

by: ARTYMAC

Do you believe in love at first sight? I have no clear answer; however, from my own experiences, I must say it is an unanswerable question until you face the situation by yourself. All the clichés or romantic novels about love at first sight arise from the real experience of recognizing someone we loved from a past live. The abrupt and intense sense of intimacy in such connection is somehow powerful, and throughout the years it has become obvious that everyone yearns to have a real magical soul mate experience. The frequent questions I have heard from people basically begin with How can I find my soul mate? When will I ever find my true love? Or is he my soul mate?

Most people simply believe that the subject of “soul mate” has something related to “reincarnation”. Nevertheless, for me soul mate is another term of true love and it is something else, something more, something bigger and deeper. In my perception, soul mate is someone you are close at the highest level, and whom you had shared many experiences in different lifetimes in various types of relationship. Furthermore, there is deep love for each other eternally, and spiritual bonds that set you apart from other people in your life.

In seeking ultimate and unconditional love through the passing years, we are never fulfilled. When we have an untrustworthy relationship and fall short of our dream, we assume that we just have not met the “right person” yet, and when we do we will finally be satisfied. This is kind of common circular concept regarding relationship of young people these days.

Sometimes real love and soul mate have nothing to do with love at first sight. Some people do not probably have trails of magnetic romantic attraction to each other at the first time. They do not recognize or realize immediately that the person they meet is their soul mate. This requires another step in getting to know each other more and at a time you will be able to find an answer to your heart if you have found a soul mate or not.

I do believe that everyone has a soul mate, but it might not be seen in the form of lover as you expect. Perhaps, you find your soul mate in this life as your own sister, brother, your mother or even your friend. For me, soul mate is not only someone who can become your lover and whom you are going to marry with, but he or she is also someone who you have intimate connection with, the one who has sincerity for you and always want to be by your side whether you are happy or down as a true eternal companion.

The spiritual bonds of soul mate can create such undeniable magnetic force. Meeting someone and having a very positive and powerful attraction to them right away is probably a sigh that this is someone who you had loved and had special bonds before. Obviously, it’s different from crushing on someone like most teenagers experience; for that is mainly the impression on outstanding appearances. In contrast, meeting a soul mate is much more meaningful than that. You will forget about clothes or appearances. After talking with him/her you will be touched by the words, thoughts or attitudes. This simply means you will get impression from inner side of your soul mate rather than what he/she looks like.

For those who are seeking a soul mate, I am certain that you will find a loving “soul mate” relationship some time. However, please remember that just because a special bond was formed in the past life does not make it more powerful and significant than the loving bonds that we form in this present life.

And for those who want to love and be loved deeply and passionately, please don’t give up hope just yet. Keep “looking for” your soul mate. The spiritual bonds must begin somewhere and with someone. It is said love is in the air, so why not start finding it now.
